Cathie has been the friendly voice on the FSOMA office phone for almost three years.  After graduating the University of South Carolina with a BA in Education, she spent the next ten years designing and facilitating “awareness & prevention” workshops for Substance Abuse, Anger & Depression, and Drop-Out Prevention, when the concept of “decision-making skills” was in its infancy.  During this time she pursued her master’s degree at Trenton State (now College of NJ), and eventually gave in to the siren song of the dollar emanating from the private sector.

In 1984 she was hired by AT&T as an Instructional Designer and spent the next 20 years trying on various corporate positions, but they all boiled down to mining out the process and project efficiencies.  Thus she sought out and achieved PMI certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and strives to use the accumulated skills and knowledge to support FSOMA.

Cathie met Lorry Davis at church, and they have been good friends ever since.  Lorry was the angel that blessed her with this opportunity, and many others.
